We do not work with writers who have not been part of the Reach To Teach process, nor do we accept sponsored posts of anyone.

Carrie is our Taiwan and ESL Education Expert A Canadian expat that has been living abroad in Asia since 2003, Carrie began her career with Reach To Teach Recruiting in 2006 as an ESL teacher in Taiwan. Today, she and her husband are co-owners of Reach To Teach. In her free time, Carrie works as a freelance travel writer and photographer, providing regular content to several publishing companies and travel publications in Asia and North America. Jason is our China expert.
He is a food and travel enthusiast from California. He first started teaching in China in 2010, where his students displayed a much higher level of maturity than him at only five years old. He revels in the bizarre and unusual things in life, and obsesses over life's little mysteries, like tumbleweeds and meat floss. He once wrestled a bear in the wild and won. His philosophy is "The Journey is the Destination".

John is our South Korea Expert - John began his career with Reach To Teach Recruiting in 2006 as an ESL teacher in Taiwan. John works predominantly on Reach To Teach's South Korea and Georgia programs. In his free time, he loves to travel every chance he gets. Michaela left her small town in the flat cornfields of Iowa in April of 2015 to explore the world before becoming condemned to a desk in an IT corporation. She has been teaching at Hess International English school in Taipei, Taiwan and shopping, hiking, and eating her way through the foreign streets. She has traveled alone and encountered many interesting experiences and hopes to aid others traveling alone as well.

Muryllo joined the Reach To Teach team in the spring of 2017 as our Social Media Manager. Muryllo packed his bags in search of adventure and landed in Australia in 2015. Muryllo has traveled through Taiwan, Thailand, and Malaysia but has been living in the U.S. since April of 2017. He is an adventure enthusiast with a deep love for traveling all over Asia.

Stephanie is our General Travel and ESL Expert - Stephanie spent most of her life in a small town near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After traveling through Europe during University, she fell in love with the excitement of travel, and with the challenge of living in a new country. Stephanie writes about her travels and adventures on her website, The Empty Road. When she’s not busy writing, Stephanie spends her time playing music, and planning her next adventure.

Vadim Rubin is an ethnic Belarussian learning to speak Mandarin Chinese. He is a coach, teacher, linguist, athlete, and an aspiring world traveler. As an avid volleyball player and coach, he spends a majority of his time on the court with sweaty volleyball junkies. Off the court he enjoys to travel, write, and teach world languages. He is now back in Taiwan teaching English, traveling, and discovering what life has to offer.
