Typical Job Duties of an ESL Teacher in Abu Dhabi

As you teach English abroad in Abu Dhabi, your ESL job duties will include the following:

  1. Up to 30 teaching hours per week
  2. 50-55 minute classes
  3. Teacher training is also provided and your school will have materials for use during ESL lesson preparation
  4. Teach a range of subjects including English, Math, Science, Art, Music, ICT, PE and English Social Studies.
  5. Kindergarten through grade five teachers needed

Teaching English in Abu Dhabi is a really exciting opportunity as it allows you to not only teach English, but it also offers yo a whole range of different subjects through the medium of the English language. This is a great way to develop your skills as a teacher. On a day to day basis, part of a teacher’s job is to prepare lesson plans and assess your students’ progress.
